Tanya Darisi, M.A, J.D.
Founder, CEO
Tanya is known for her insatiable drive to make real and meaningful change happen, with a true passion for bringing data-driven insight to the fight for social and environmental justice. She’s a natural born problem-solver with a gift for disrupting assumptions and navigating complexity. For more than 25 years, Tanya has worked across the public, private and philanthropic sectors on a wide range of issues and initiatives that promote greater equity, inclusion and wellbeing for all. In addition to her contributions through Openly, Tanya is a practicing lawyer, providing legal support to startups and social enterprises.

Katharine Zywert, Ph.D.
Katharine is dedicated to supporting social change processes that enable equity, health, and environmental regeneration. She is a writer, researcher, and planetary health gardener. She is the author of Sustainable Communities for a Healthy Planet (2024) and lead editor of Health in the Anthropocene: Living Well on a Finite Planet (2020). At Openly, Katharine uses her skills as a researcher, writer, and facilitator to help people make better decisions in contexts of complexity and emergence.

Chris Griffin, CPA
An experienced financial analyst, Chris’ superpower is helping organizations understand their financial position to make informed decisions and advance their broader business strategy. His day-to-day focuses on interpreting financial results, forecasting, assessing risks, and ensuring that financial insights clearly align with operational goals. As an executive-in-residence and finance mentor for Openly clients, Chris’ contribution intersects strategy, analysis and financial stewardship.

Randal Boutilier
Randal has a wealth of knowledge in the nonprofit realm, understanding the key role that design plays not only in day-to-day communications, but in building community and philanthropy. This experience was built from his work at 12thirteen, a graphic design studio in Toronto that creates print and digital materials in the nonprofit sector. He enjoys working with a variety of invested parties involved in a project – and fosters an environment that is creative and collaborative. His work passion is to distill complex stories and concepts into compelling and engaging visuals that are easy to understand and desirable to share.
